The frame is available from Trillium in either 16 or 14 gauge, factory welded. Anchors in drywall applications must be welded into the jambs. The tested configuration included both single doors and pairs of doors. The doors can be hinged off the jambs, off the mullions or a combination of both. Strike mullions can be removable when doors swing in the same direction. Hinge mullions are always fixed. Doors can be configured to swing in opposite directions as required. A double egress type application with the doors either swinging off the jambs or the mullions is permitted. The maximum overall frame size is 12' 10" x 7' 4" x 1 3/4" with a maximum door leaf size of 4' 0" x 7' 2" x 1 3/4". Jamb depths of 5 3/4" to 12" or throats from 4 1/2" to 11" are available. These Multiple Opening Frames can contain two, three or four doors. Doors can contain honeycomb, styrene, urethane, or steel stiffened cores. Pairs of doors do not require an astragal. Double egress doors require a fixed mullion between.

2. Double Strike Mullion can be removable when the mullions are between doors swinging in the same direction. See "R" in drawing.
3. Hinge Mullions are always fixed.
